Sustainability is one of the core principles on which our entire business process is built. From sourcing to packaging, we follow sustainable practices every step of the way. It is because we believe that our success is not just in the profit margins, but also in what we return to the environment and the people who work with us.
We also aim to raise awareness about sustainable cotton products, so the mills, manufacturers and brands that partner with us also use premium cotton. This way, we can soon make organic cotton a mainstream choice across all segments.
At Sreedhara, we follow sustainable practices in major areas –by use of green energy.
Green Energy
At Sreedhara, we aim to make the optimum use of green energy to power all our manufacturing units. Currently, we use up to 3.75 MV of energy produced from our 2 windmills. Plus, we use about 1.375 MV of energy produced from a solar plant. We produce around 92% of our power using clean wind & solar power.
We use compressors, energy-efficient motors in ring frames and humidification plants to reduce energy usage.
